In 2016, we had the pleasure of having TDC Group as the case company of IT Case Competition. The case focused on how to utilize the full potential of being an ISP with access to endless amounts of data, both regarding customers, habits and so on. TDC was seeking for a fresh pair of eyes to identify potential value creating business models. The competitors of ITCC helped TDC identify various potentials within the organization, and gave the company some exciting ideas to bring back.
The winning team proposed a reverse business model, where TDC functioned as the guardian of their customers’ data by allowing their clients to customize what their data was used for in terms of tracking and monitoring. Read the full case here.
